The executive authority of Allah’s Rasool/Messenger (s.a.w) has been clearly established in the Quran [3:32; 3:132; 4:59; 5:92; 8:1; 8:20; 8:46; 9:71; 24:52; 24:54; 24:56; 33:71; 47:33; 48:17; 49:14; 58:13; 64:12]. Three essential powers for running a state are the legislative power (to make laws), the judicial power (to interpret the laws and decide matters accordingly) and the executive power (to implement the law and the decisions thereby). As far as the judicial power or authority is concerned, the Quran clearly states that the ultimate judicial authority belongs to the Almighty [6:57; 6:62; 7:87; 10:109; 11:45; 12:40; 12:67; 28:70; 28:88; 40:12]. Leadership has been defined in many ways but it is mostly agreed that “leadership is about influencing others towards a common goal”. According to Michael H. Hart’s book ‘The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History’ (1978), Muhammad (s.a.w.) has been the most influential personality in the entire human history. It will be interesting and edifying to know what was his leadership style which made him the most influential person ever along with other factors.

There are three verses in the Quran in which Uswa-Hasana has been mentioned. The verses are as follows:
*****************

The Quran says categorically that Muhammad (a.s.) would die as others would die. Please see the following verse:
إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ
Surely (O Prophet) you will die and surely they (too) will die.
Al-Qur'an, 039.030 (Az-Zumar [The Troops, Throngs])
The above verse mentions first the death of the Prophet (in second person singular) and then mentions the death of others (in third person plural). The verse begins with the word inna whi

When Noah (a.s.) was sent to his people:

In 7/157-158, Quran mentions the prophet (p.b.u.h) as ‘Al-Nabbiyyil-ummi’.
007:157. "Those who follow the apostle, alnnabiyya alommiyyawhom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him

The word Muhammad [a.s.] appears in the Quran four times in the following verses:
3/144 And Muhammad is no more than a messenger; the messengers have already passed away before him; if then he dies or is killed will you turn back upon your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful.
