True Believers in the Quran
Only those believe TRULY in the Revelations of Allah, who, when these are brought to their attention, fall down in complete submission and actively and incessantly occupy themselves to work for the manifestation of the Glory of their Guardian-Lord, without showing any arrogance or pride [32:15]. These people are not swayed by emotions and they take every step after a lot of deliberation, so much so that even when the Revelations of their Guardian-Lord are presented to them, they do not fall upon these by ignoring their intellect, wisdom, rationale and reason [17:36, 25:73]. They do not behave as if they were deaf and blind. They adopt the Divine Laws only after careful consideration and pondering over them. These people follow the Book of Allah as it should be followed. These are the ones who really believe therein [2:121].
Verily, only those believe in our Revelations, who, when these are brought to their attention fall down in complete submission and actively and incessantly occupy themselves to work for the manifestation of the Glory of their Guardian-Lord, without showing any arrogance or pride [32:15]
“And do not follow (blindly) any information of which you have no (direct) knowledge. (Using your faculties of perception and conception, you must verify it for yourself). (In the Court of your Guardian-Lord,) you will be held accountable for your hearing, sight, and the faculty of reasoning.”[17:36]
When the Revelations of their Guardian-Lord are brought to their attention, they do not fall upon these, deaf and blind (ignoring their intellect, wisdom, rationale and reason) [25:73]
They, to whom We have given the Book, recite and follow it as it deserves to be recited and followed. It is they who truly believe in it [2:121].
Note: The term ’tilawat’ (تلاوت) is more comprehensive than ‘qir’aat’ (قرات) . ‘Tilawat’ (تلاوت) not only signify ‘recitation’ but also signify ‘following’. See the use of the root (ت۔ل۔و) in Surah 91 verse 2.
